2. User Obligations and Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth and successful application process, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information regarding your academic history, identity, and immigration status.
- Submit all required documents within the deadlines specified by LEC or the target educational institutions.
- Ensure that all submitted work, particularly personal statements and portfolios, is entirely your own and free from plagiarism.
3. Scope and Limitations of Our Role
- No Guarantee of Admission: While LEC provides expert guidance, the final decision regarding university admissions rests solely with the respective educational institution. We cannot guarantee acceptance into any specific university or course.
- No Financial Advisory Services: LEC representatives are not authorized financial advisors. We do not provide formal advice regarding student loans, grants, maintenance funds, or financial contracts (including interactions with Student Finance England). Any finance-related information shared is strictly for general awareness.
- Exclusion of Financial Liability: LEC accepts no financial responsibility or liability for a student at any phase of their educational journey—whether before, during, or after enrollment. This includes, but is not limited to, tuition costs, living expenses, or loan repayments.
- Post-Enrollment Responsibilities: Once you are formally enrolled, your direct relationship is with the university. LEC is not responsible for your academic progress, fee payments, timetables, campus services, or resolving disputes between you and the institution.
4. Handling of Applicant Documentation
To secure your university placement, our team must process the personal and academic documents you provide.
- Authorized Sharing: By using our services, you explicitly consent to LEC securely transmitting your academic transcripts, personal details, and other application materials to our partnered universities, admissions departments, and affiliated colleges to facilitate your admission.
- Confidentiality: We guarantee that all document processing and sharing is conducted with the highest degree of confidentiality and in full compliance with UK data protection regulations.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, design elements, text, graphics, logos, and service marks found on the LEC website are the exclusive intellectual property of London Education Care or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of our website without our prior written consent.
